Archipelago island

Vargö

A small island with great natural beauty.

Vargö is a nature reserve and located the furthest out to sea. There are several plants that offer that genuine west coast feeling, and around the pier honeysuckle grows among partially planted trees in memory of a small park. The island has good swimming and fishing spots.

Vargö offers a wonderful landscape close to the sea. Here you can walk among the rocks and the protected valleys. On the island you can enjoy the archipelago’s birdlife, which is dominated by gulls and eiders but also sees razorbills and forest birds. Don’t forget your swimming clothes for a dip in the sea at the Bälvik beach.

Remember there are no stores on this island/nature reserve so bring your own picnic and water bottles.
