Gothenburg Restaurant Association Taste of Gothenburg was founded in 1999 as a collaboration between Göteborg & Co and restaurateurs in Gothenburg. The association is working towards strengthening and profiling Gothenburg as a culinary destination, strengthening relationships to local producers and ensuring a high-quality products. To be a part of Taste of Gothenburg, restaurants need to be members of Visita, a sector and employer’s organisation for the tourism industry. The aim is also that all restaurants taking part should be environmentally certified.
Among the restaurants in Taste of Gothenburg, you’ll find everything from Michelin-starred gourmet restaurants and classic establishments, to trendy eateries, street food and family restaurants. The gift card can be purchased at Taste of Gothenburg’s website or at Gothenburg Visitor Centre on the square Kungsportsplatsen.
