Every year since 1997, the Gothenburg International Science Festival has created burstling meeting places for knowledge, inspiration and new perspectives. The festival presents science in creative and unexpected ways, and with its approx. 50,000 yearly festival visits, it’s one of Europe’s leading popular science events.

The science festival has an interdisciplinary school program with hundreds of exciting, fun and educational activity opportunities for students in preschool and elementary school.

The science festival also has a public program open to all and completely free. It is taking place at several different locations in Gothenburg and parts can be viewed online. It is usually possible to participate without pre-registration, if you need to book, it is clearly stated in the program item.
