Move 78 is the hyped, Berlin-based band that blends improvised jazz with hip-hop beats. Tradition meets innovation. Drums, bass, french horn, keyboards, and samplers create their distinctive sound and blur the lines between musical interaction and technology, between the spontaneous and the calculated. The result is a sophisticated mix of repetitive and the improvised, echoing influences from legends like David Axelrod.

Since 2021, Move 78 has released three full-length albums and a slew of acclaimed singles. Their music has been played extensively on radio stations worldwide, featured on internet stations like Worldwide FM, NPR, and NTS, and highlighted in editorials for both Spotify and Apple Music. In their home country, the band also has their own show – ‘The Monthly Move 78 Show’ – on the Berlin-based station Refuge Worldwide.
