Hailing from Maryland, extreme metal band Dying Fetus bring their combo of technical death metal and hardcore to create their own distinct sound filled with blast beats, guttural vocals and hooks.

In 1991, Dying Fetus was formed by John Gallagher (guitar/vocals), Nick Speleos (guitar), Brian Latta (guitar), Jason Netherton (bass) and Kevin Talley (drums). The band quickly gained a loyal fanbase on the underground scenes before reaching mainstream audiences with such Billboard-charting efforts as “Reign Supreme” (2012) and “Wrong One to Fuck With” (2017).

After a few years, Speleos left the band and Dying Fetus became a quartet instead. Since then, the band has gone through several line-ups but with the only constant member being John Gallagher. With him at the helm, Dying Fetus continues to break necks with their uncompromising music and 2023’s album “Make Them Beg for Death” is no exception.

And the answer is yes. The rumor is true. Dying Fetus live is like going to death metal heaven with an audience that doesn’t miss a single note. Now it’s time for the band to return to Sweden’s stages again, and with them they have Chelsea Grin, Despised Icon and Vitriol as support for the evening.
